Conditioning is very important. The most basic conditioning you can do, whether you play a sport or not, is pushing your wheelchair chair.

In this video I am going to show you some basic pushing chair skills to help improve your push and improve your conditioning.

Also a dribbling set to work on your ball handling skills.

These are just the basics, but a good player masters the basics and improves from there.

Conditioning

  • Basic sprints
  • 2-push stop
  • 2 push stop with quarter turns
  • 2 push stop and 1 back

Dribble workouts

  • Normal dominant hand dribbles
  • Small dribbles
  • High dribbles
  • Rocker dribbles
  • Then repeat this set with your non dominant hand
